Floor plans are suitable for marketing and layout purposes only. The majority of Estate Agents would consider that a straight forward floor plan is an integral part of any sales brochure produced to market a property. This type of floor plan allows both agency staff and potential purchasers to visualise the layout of the property. Room dimensions are measured and drawn precisely but other fixtures and fittings (if noted at all) are approximated. Drawings are usually presented in pdf format or hardcopy.
Measured Building Surveys are very different from, and in much more detail, than simple floor plans. Measured Building Surveys are widely used by architects when designing extensions, building alterations, space planning etc. The level of detail would be decided predominantly by the client and in addition to basic room dimensions they may also include internal and external elevations, ceiling plans, cross sections and the exact location of services etc. Drawings are generally presented in AutoCAD dwg, dxf, pdf or hard copy.
Pub and Food Licensing Plans are needed for Licensing Applications. These plans, in addition to noting the room layout, also include other items such as smoke detector locations, food areas etc.
Completing the form above will instantly provide you a set of estimates directly from suppliers for a floor plan. You will be given their full contact details and they will receive your contact details so that you will be able to communicate directly. Once you have discussed your requirements in more detail your supplier will be able to provide a more detailed quotation for the work and also agree the time scales for the work to be carried out.
If you are about to put your house on the market, you will also require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). We can also provide a list of estimates from Estate Agents for the likely cost to sell your home.
