We are an independent family run firm of experienced and specialised surveyors specialising in RICS Homebuyers Reports and Building Surveys (formerly Full Structural Surveys) and Valuations. Our experienced team of RICS Regulated surveyors are experts in all aspects of construction from 16th Century to present day. Our North West region includes offices within Cumbria, Manchester, Blackburn and Wirral. Our surveyors are based locally to the areas we service which ensures they have the necessary local knowledge and experience to provide you with the highest quality report and service possible.

Quality of service : Nick Scholefield did a very thorough RICS3 survey, wrote it up well, with a minimum of cut and paste boilerplate, and spent a fair while with us on a Zoom call to go through it.
Value for money : The fear was, with the very cheap initial quote, that the survey would not be thorough enough. No worries on that score.

Quality of service : Not only did I get a full report, I received a phone call from the survey personally, just to go through a few things. Made it more personal for me.
Value for money : Definitely worth the money - very competitive price too. Save me couple hundred pounds.

We contacted them on a Friday and the survey was arranged for the following Tuesday. The surveyer called me as soon as he had finished the survey to discuss a couple of concerns and I received his report later that day. We could not have asked for a better efficient service and would highly recommend them.
Quality of service : Very impressed with the phone call after the survey had been completed and the detail of the report which was sent the same day as the survey was conducted.
Value for money : This wasn't the cheapest quote we received, but it wasn't a lot more than the others. I believe it does reflect good value for money because the service was so effecient.

All other correspondence was good preceding the inspection and I called Mr Smit the surveyor the following week to discuss various items on the survey and he was very helpful.
Quality of service : The survey seems to be very detailed. We haven't moved in to the property yet so it's hard to say. Always difficult with an old property (520 years old). Obviously nothing complies with modern building requirements and the building Grade II listed to add to the difficulties.
Value for money : The price of the survey seemed very reasonable.

Quality of service : I have been absolutely amazed by the service that Alex provided. He is clearly very good at his job and this shows in the survey report that he did, which was extremely thorough. Thereafter, Alex spent considerable time with me on the phone explaining the detail of the survey and also advising on more suitable properties, as the house in question failed his survey. There was absolutely no obligation on him to do this but his help has proved to be beyond invaluable. I couldn't be more happy with the service received.
