The web site operated well and I placed an order with Charlotte Riddle of Connected Electrical, their service was great. C. Murray Good morning sorry about the delay but I wanted to be able to answer all questions fully, instead of having to send several e-mails. 1) Your web site was very easy to use and provided information that was very useful to myself. 2) I did use one of the four provided by your web site - Connected Domestic Electricians. 3) The work was completed during December and I am very pleased with the service provided. a) From the very first contact I was really impressed with Charlotte and her dad. b) Attended to provide a quote when they said they would - very friendly and easy to talk to. I wasnt too sure exactly what I wanted and they provided very useful guidance and explained how they would chase the wiring through to various locations etc and alternative methods that might take longer but cause less mess or inconvenience. c) The actual quote they provided was very reasonable. It was right in the middle of a range of quotes I had received, the lowest being £2870, the highest being £6500, and Charlottes quote was £4700. d) There were various reasons I chose Connected Domestic Electricians. The quote provided was very reasonably and detailed all work they were quoting for, the quote was very reasonably compared to other companies, Charlotte and Paul came across as very friendly and approachable and lived up to the logo on their own web site that they are a family company, located the company on other web sites and all customer comments all gave the same impression - well pleased with the work undertaken. e) They were quite happy to accept my proposed payment schedule. f) The work was actually carried out during the first fortnight of December and coincided with the arrival of the heavy snow. They arrived very promptly every day and did a full days work. The one day they couldnt make it because of the weather they did make contact very early and having discussed the situation we agreed that it was unsafe for them to make the journey. g) At all stages of the work they kept me updated as to what they were doing, what they intended to do next and how they would chase the wiring around the house. Whilst doing the work they made suggestions regarding the siting of sockets and actually provided more sockets than I had originally asked for at no extra charge. h) They tried to keep the mess and disruption down as much as possible, and tidied up as they went. Bearing in mind I had the house re-wired I was expecting a mess and they did their best to keep it down. i) What more can I say - would I recommend them - YES I WOULD. I could probably keep going but I think you get the picture that I was very pleased with the company. Paul The electricians responded with quotes in record time and in a professional manner. We placed our order for work to be carried out after receiving a competitive and very prompt quote. Before receiving the written quote, the electricians called at the house to discuss our requirements and work to be carried out by them.
