Quality of service :  We used this comparison site to find a surveyor and to be honest initially went with the cheapest option, but then they decided they couldn't be bothered to respond to an email asking if they could contact the agents to arrange access! Then I checked my junk mail and found a revised quote from Kevin, it was approx £80 more than the company we initially chose but the fact he had cared enough about getting our custom to send an email directly with a revised quote, and then when we realised that his service actually provided more anyway it was a no brainer! All dealt with via email extremely quickly so no hassle. We instructed Kevin on 8/4/21, he was able to attend on 21/4/21 which initially we thought was quite a wait but as it turns out, our solicitors are waiting on information from the buyers solicitor so hasn't caused us any issues. We received an email the day the survey was conducted to advise it was completed and there was nothing too serious to report and then we received the full report on 22/4/21 which provided really detailed and useful information. We really appreciate Kevin's quick, clean, to the point information being first time buyers and without a doubt will use again and recommend.

Quality of service :  Really helpful and useful survey. We made an offer on the property which was refused and following discussion with Kevin we didn't take it any further as we agreed with his view that it wasn't worth proceeding. A disappointment in some senses but it prevented us spending a lot of money on a house which could have become a money drain.
Value for money :  Expensive in the sense that we ended up without a purchase but that saved us a shed load of money in the long run - so worth every penny. A very comprehensive survey.
