Quality of service : The surveyor who visited us had good mannerism and showed appreciable professionalism. We're thanking him.

Quality of service : The inspection was very thorough and the surveyor took his time looking over the property. The report arrived the next day and clearly outlined various aspects that needed attention.
Value for money : It seemed a fair price.
Professionalism : On the whole I agree, but there was one thing I found disappointing. I did all the arranging of the appointment, phone calls, emails etc and was asked if I wanted to add my husband's name to the report. I agreed and then found that further emails were addressed to him first. I pointed this out and received a sincere apology. Overall, I am glad we used the company and recommend them.

Promptness of response : A quote was provided by this company quickly after using Local Surveyors Direct's service. The survey co-ordinator was attentive to details and responded promptly to my request.
Quality of service : The engineer conducting the survey was extremely helpful and was ready to respond to enquiries. He was very devoted to his duties and did not mind working beyond the agreed time slot to find out the reason for a particular defect.
Value for money : Though this was not the cheapest quote, the company provided valuable service. A report was produced within 24 hours after the survey, which was very useful to assist us in making a decision.
Professionalism : The engineer was knowledgeable and could provide useful advice during the survey. The report produced was comprehensive, with detailed explanation and illustrative photos taken with high resolution. It has clearly addressed my concerns raised prior to the survey.

We had bought property in August 2020 which had planning permission for work required plus more work. Therefore we enquired about accessing calculations for this which past owner had. Therefore realised survey may not be necessary.
Value for money : As above although we did think quote was very expensive which caused us to re-think and then realise as above may not be needed.
