Chartered architect Ian Banks has been a Member of the Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA) and registered with Architects Registration Board (ARB) since 1990. He is also a Member of the Association of Consultant Architects (ACA), and so bound by their Professional standards and abides ethically with the Architects Code of Conduct. Atoll Architecture is part of the company Atoll Ltd, which was first registered in 2007.
Atoll was judged BUILD Review’s ‘Most Innovative Residential Architect - North West England’ in their 2019 and 2020 Architecture Awards; as well as being ranked 'Best of Houzz 2020’ for Customer Service; He is a current national Built Environment Expert Specialists acting nationally for Design Council; is a Member of the Green Register of consultants; and a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).Contact Details

Ian Banks is a chartered architect and sole paractitioner at his micro company Atoll Ltd. His predominantly residential architecture work carried out as part of Atoll Architecture, is the key part of his wider limited company portfolio, that includes arts consultancy, journalism and voluntary interests. Ian takes great pride in the integrity of all of his work, irrspective of size - and always looks to deliver excellence in design, customer service and ethical professionalism in equal measure.

Quality of service : Very comprehensive report very well presented
Value for money : The most expensive report decided it was too much for what was a fairly simple extension. May have selected them on a more complex project.
