Quality of service : He did what he was asked to do on time and I understand from the property owner helped rescue a trapped bird .
Value for money : He was considerably less expensive than a quote from a local surveyor who had previously surveyed a similar size property. Who decided that trying to charge us an additional £500 would be paid for by ignorance? So very pleased when Johns's quote was slightly better than our previous paid survey which with hindsight was neither as detailed or delivered as promptly
Professionalism : Nothng to add other than polite and did not talk down to me as a "non Architectural degree carrier"

Quality of service : The survey was conducted very quickly and a verbal update was provided the same evening - an excellent service. Obtaining the report was somewhat more difficult requiring numerous chasing emails and a deadline to avoid a complaint. The report once received was very useful and good quality.
Value for money : Price was extremely competitive.
Professionalism : the initial contact, speed of booking survey and quality of report were very good. Communication between conducting the survey and delivering the report was frustrating and required 4 chasing emails only one of which was responded to.

Promptness of response : Received a prompt response, very detailed with lots of information, details of their work. After careful review I made the decision that this company albeit able to look into my problems, were far too qualified and I did not think that they would be interested in my little 2 bed conversion. The company are more used to large historic houses with inherent problems experienced over years of wear and tear. My property is a 2015 conversion (2 bed / 1 bath/ lounge kitchen diner) and I needed only little investigation to identify problems and concerns that I have. I mainly need advice and pointing in the right direction to investigate. I explained this to the company and have heard nothing since which is to be expected. No complaints, they responded and were very helpful with all the information they supplied. This is the only company I heard from, the only other thing worthy of note is that they were not very local to me. Kind regards.

No general comments made at all. Photographic evidence of damp meter readings etc. to back all of their comments. Additionally I had a phone call as soon as the survey was completed to highlight the main items I had aired as a potential concern. The Team were efficient and pro-active in slotting me into a cancellation and did all the planning with the seller's Estate Agent. The report arrived exactly in the agreed timescales. I will use CS Surveying for all future work I need in this area. The best there is in terms of ease to deal with, quality of information supplied and approachability. Only one person dealing with the admin side meant that they knew me and my situation personally unlike most of the others I had quotes from. Also could answer most of the questions I had without the need to check with the Surveyor.

John who is a chartered surveyor with huge experience, did an outstanding job giving me instant verbal feedback after the survey, and astonishingly, managed to get a full detailed 10,000 word written report with 150 photographs back to me the same day. Having someone who really knows the industry and who understands property is a huge comfort to me and I plan to fully implement all the suggestions. I will also now be able to go back and negotiate a better price for the property now I know what needs to be done. I had not seen any of the damp or cracking at all when I visited in person but John found it all, with costings and recommendations for what needs to be done. Overall, I am so pleased that I trusted my instinct to get a top rate service and in the long run, this will save me a lot of money and stress. He was extremely helpful in discussing the property with me. The written report has taken a couple of weeks to come through, but that was expected as I was told at the outset it would be the case. The report was detailed and easy to understand. It included clear photos taken to illustrate points made. I was very happy with the service we received and recommended this company.
